Jorge Alberto entered the mortgage industry as a loan officer on March 20, 2002. Throughout the years, Jorge worked in several banks, allowing him to gain diverse experience in residential lending. “I was able to learn all the facets of lending so I could assist my customers to the full extent of my knowledge,” Jorge says. 

“I love working with first-time buyers, guiding them through the mortgage process, and helping them to feel more confident with the mortgage experience,” Jorge says. “My proudest achievement is to see the enjoyment of ownership in the faces of borrowers when they are at the settlement table.” 

Fluent in Spanish, Jorge cherishes the relationships he’s built with the local community and takes pride in the great number of Spanish-speaking borrowers he’s been able to assist. 

“Many of my referrals originate from satisfied buyers,” Jorge says. “What has been very interesting in my career is to do loans for the children of borrowers that I assisted years ago.”

“They deposited a lot of trust in me because their parents were very satisfied with my performance as a loan originator.” 

By making trust and reliability the foundation of his business, Jorge recognizes the responsibility he takes on for his clients. “I will always treat their loan as the only loan in my pipeline,” he says. “We will reach the finish line and get to the closing together.”

Although he was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Jorge’s family originally emigrated from Italy in 1925. “Since it was an Italian household, I learned to speak Italian before speaking Spanish,” he says. 

After completing his elementary and secondary education, Jorge attended the University of Buenos Aires and University of Belgrano, obtaining degrees in Business and International Commerce. 

Jorge is a proud husband to his “lovely wife,” Diane, with whom he shares four children and six grandchildren. Together, they love to travel and enjoy cooking at home when their family comes to visit.
